Everyone loves an upgrade!

New Energy-Efficient Fridge for Our Community Hub.

Our community hub is excited to announce the arrival of a new, bigger, and more energy-efficient fridge, which will significantly enhance our ability to store chilled food for those in need. This upgrade allows us to increase our capacity for food donations and ensures that we can provide fresh, chilled options to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

We have also been able to update our leaflet wall (vital for signposting those in need to the services that can help them), as well as buy a bigger shelving unit for our refreshments!

Our aim is to reduce food waste and promote sustainability while fostering a supportive environment where everyone in our community can access free food and good company.

Big shout out to the wonderful volunteers who organised delivery, rearranged shelving units and fitted the new fridge for us! We are so thankful to Hubbub and Neighbourly who supported us with grants that enabled us to buy the new fridge, and to all our other wonderful supporters who make it possible for this community hub to flourish thanks to their generosity. We love you all ❤
