Why Love Dereham?

April 2018 has seen the relaunch and name change of the previously named Dereham Community Support Centre. Why choose this name? What does it mean?

Fundamentally it is because we believe that the town and people of Dereham are worth loving. We believe that Jesus loves us and he calls us to pass that love on to others. Demonstrating that love though is not about words and worthy sentiment, but about practical, 'out of the box', life changing acts of love.

'Actions speak louder than words', a phrase we all know so well. As we begin this new phase in the charity's journey, we aim to Love Dereham through our actions; through the projects that we are developing to make a real difference to the lives of those in our town.

'Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out.'
